The dark green foliage of the Weeping Norway Spruce can be staked and trained into an outstanding upright specimen, or it can be allowed to grow as an undulating groundcover that drapes over slopes and wall. Or, they can be planted in a row, staked and trained on wire supports to form into a narrow living fence. Our specimen is planted in a great deal of shade where it has stayed relatively small and has done very well. It is a wonderful dark green and seems to fit perfectly on the corner of our Sun Room where we can view it all winter from inside.
