Asarum 'European' (European Ginger)

Dark green glossy leaves forming tight colonies of spectacular rounded leaves. The European Ginger is sought after. It is completely hardy unlike some of the other fancy gingers. The leaves are held closer to the ground than the common ginger and forms a gorgeous (but very slow) groundcover. We enjoy the Gymnocarpium plumosa fern mingling among the very dark green ginger leaves at the base of an old White Cedar in our North Display Garden. 66 fl oz/1.951 L pot
