Cimicifuga japonica (Japanese Bugbane)

Deep blackish purple stems hold blackish purple pearl like buds above the green foliage. The pearl like buds finally open to the white bottlebrush flowers on this late blooming smaller Cimicifuga. It will be among the last of the seasons flowers to enjoy. Place it where you can view it from inside to receive full enjoyment.
