Kerria japonica 'Variegata (A delicate appearing shrub with bright green stems. The small light green leaves have a thin white margin Yellow flowers appear in late spring. We trim our Kerria to the ground every spring and it keeps the shrub at about 24-30" tall. The hard pruning also keeps it very compact. While we have this shrub growing in sun, it is just as suitable for a shadier position and it would be gorgeous in a woodland garden. It has proven to be fully hardy growing in an elevated area here on the edge of our pond.)
