Crambe maritima (Sea Kale)

A very ornamental plant offering great texture and a new color to the perennial border. Imagine mounds of undulating and succulent blue-gray foliage. Sprays of fragrant white flowers open in June. The early spring display is stunning with tightly curled purple flushed foliage as it emerges. We have had our Crambe maritima for many years and it has grown into a grand mound. It is positioned in our raised garden where it is allowed to drape over the boulder wall. Crambe performs at it's best in an area of good drainage. 94 fl oz/2.779 L pot
