$ 14.95 Crambe cordifolia (Giant Kale)
4-5' tall Part Shade to Sun Zone 5 Fragrant A cloud of fragrant starry white flowers held in the air 4-5' in June. A dramatic plant often seen in the glossy garden books illustrating shade gardens to die for. The leaves are very large (rhubarb type size) rising to 18-20" above the ground. Books rate this as a plant for full sun but we found that the plants were short lived in that setting. Morning sun is ideal. 204 fl oz/6.033 L pot
$ 10.95 Crambe maritima (Sea Kale)
12-16" tall Sun Zone 4 A very ornamental plant offering great texture and a new color to the perennial border. Imagine mounds of undulating and succulent blue-gray foliage. Sprays of fragrant white flowers open in June. The early spring display is stunning with tightly curled purple flushed foliage as it emerges. We have had our Crambe maritima for many years and it has grown into a grand mound. It is positioned in our raised garden where it is allowed to drape over the boulder wall. Crambe performs at it's best in an area of good drainage. 94 fl oz/2.779 L pot
$ 12.95 Darmera peltatum
16-20" tall Shade or Sun Zone 5-7 Large somewhat glossy green umbrella like leaves add hues of rose and bronze as the temps lower in the fall. The edges are widely scalloped enriching the architecture of the plant. Early in the spring naked flower stems rise up about 20-24" and rich pink flowers open, lasting for weeks in the coolness of early spring. Finally the tightly held foliage emerges and opens to their grandness of size and reaching a height just below the spent flower heads. For dry or wet, shade or sun. Here we have Darmera peltatum planted in a dry streambed (except when we get torrents of rain) in full sun. 129 fl oz/3.814 L pot
$ 8.95 Dianthus barbatus 'Heart Attack' (Perennial Sweet William)
15-20" tall Part Shade to Sun Zone 4-9 A sought after Sweet William producing multitudes of brilliant black red carnation type flowers beginning in late spring to early summer and continue for most of the summer. The dark crimson flowers are held above glossy, dark green, lance-shaped leaves. The foliage appears in the spring in the form of rosettes in shades of red. The foliage colors in the fall change to a beautiful burgundy. I have found that some protection from the hottest time of the afternoon improved its performance. 66 fl oz/1.951 L pot
$ 8.00 Dianthus petraeus ssp. noeanus
3-6" tall Sun to Part Shade Zone 4-9 Fragrant For the foliage alone, this is among my favorite plants. It has tight foliage buns in a good darker green which is set up with intensely fragrant snow white frilly blossoms in midsummer. Although dianthus prefer a more alkaline soil, we haven't added lime to our generally acidic soil. Just mix in a few handfuls of crushed limestone -- which will sweeten the soil and provide the necessary good drainage that dianthus like. 26 fl oz/.0768 L pot
$ 8.00 Dianthus s. 'Gary Eichhorn'
3-6" tall Sun to Part Shade Zone 4-9 Fragrant Masses of extremely fragrant, single rose-pink flowers beginning in early summer. The blue-green spreading foliage looks great throughout the season and provides great texture and visual interest. It pairs well with Sedum cauticola, Sedum sieboldii and Stachys 'Big Ears'. We've tried many dianthus. This and the others we offer have proven to be durable and reliable. 26 fl oz/.0768 L pot
$ 9.45 Eryngium 'Big Blue' PP20636 (Sea Holly)
24-30" tall Sun Zone 4-9 Remarkably iridescent blue flowers, blue stems and silver leaves. Spectacular in the garden and long lasting cut flower. Easy to grow. 94 fl oz/2.779 L pot
$ 7.95 Geranium cantabrigiense 'Biokovo' (Hardy Geranium)
6-8" tall Sun to Part Shade Zone 4-8 Masses of white flowers are held above smaller attractive mounded foliage. The foliage turns reddish in the cool fall colors and is very attractive. A great groundcover selection and will perform stunningly in hot poor soil. 66 fl oz/1.951 L pot
$ 9.00 Geranium dalmaticum (Hardy Geranium)
3-5" tall Sun to Part Shade A petite geranium in all regards. Very compact growth. A special plant for a special spot. 26 fl oz/1.951L pot
$ 7.95 Geranium 'John Elsley' (Hardy Geranium)

$ 8.95 Geranium 'Orion' (Hardy Geranium)
18" tall Sun to Part Shade Zone 3-7 Large violet-blue flowers have darker violet veins. Very floriferous and in bloom a long time. This will form a large mounding plant to 18" tall. 94 fl oz/2.779 L pot
$ 8.95 Geranium sanguineum 'Striatum' (Hardy Geranium)
6-9" tall Sun to Part Sun Zone 3-8 Blush pink flowers with crimson veins cover the plant for 6-8 weeks in late spring and early summer, followed by sporadic bloom until frost. The attractive finely cut foliage slowly spreads. 66 fl oz/1.951 L pot
$ 8.95 Gillenia trifoliata (Bowman's Root)
36-42" tall Shade to Part Shade Zone 4-8 Masses of white star-shaped flowers on wiry stems, floating like butterflies with the slightest breeze. Flowers emerge from small tubular reddish-colored sepals which remain long after the petals have fallen. Definitely a plant I would not be without. In full shade it won't reach the height that ours has in a relatively sunny spot -- 42" tall. Definitely a plant to watch in the early spring as the bare reddish stems rise tall before the bright spring green leaves emerge. The "flighty" white flowers are really nice, too. 26 fl oz/.0768L pot
GRASS
$ 8.95 Calamagrostis 'Karl Foerster' (Feather Reed Grass)
5' tall Sun Zone 4-8 Compact clumping and erect growth habit. Wheat like seed heads. 129 fl oz/3.814 L pot

$ 8.95 Panicum v. 'Shenandoah' (Red Switchgrass)
42-48" tall Sun to Part Shade Zone 5-8 An upright grass, sized just right - fitting appropriately in any garden. Dark red leaf tones begin in July, darkening to burgundy in August, and wine in September. It has that look - which I wish I could describe -- somewhat delicate, fragile in appearance, not overly bold etc., so it works very well with smaller (shorter) plants while not overpowering. 129 fl oz/3.814 L pot
$ 8.95 Gysophila 'Festival Star' PP14818 (Baby's Breath)
