Clematis 'Lanuginosa Candida'

Large and stunning white flowers. So abundant are the petals that give it has a semi double appearance. It is centered with an eye of yellow anthers. Flowers in June, July, and September. Great grower and may get taller than described. It was discovered in China in the 1800's during a collecting expedition for the Royal Horticultural Society. It was introduced in 1850. It is considered by many to be the best white flowering clematis. PG2
